I do like these characters, and at last I have a good handle on their conflict, though I don’t think it comes out strongly enough in the chapter.
I’ll be finishing this one and subbing it, no matter what the outcome of New Voices is!

Thanks Lacey! I’m not giving up on these characters. I hope I can do them justice. They both have their scars, it’s just that Meg’s are more visible than Nick’s. I’m looking forward to writing the rest of their story.
Besides, this is now first book in a series, so I gotta get this one published somewhere so the rest can follow it!
